October marks the end (more or less) of harvest time. It's a great time to be grateful.

We're especially, and always, grateful for readers. We here at Shuniah House also read--poetry, prose (fiction and nonfiction), and the occasional play.
We also read longer stories about people who become real to us, whether they're a real person relating memories or they're entirely fictional people surviving and thriving in their circumstances.
And finally, we read stories about what might be. How the world might be working, if we understood its operation better. What those new understandings might take from us, and what we might gain.
Our backlist includes books fitting all these descriptions--and more. Our books include love, mystery, adventure, tenacity, and imagination, just as examples.
If you haven't sampled our books and are in northwestern Ontario, why not get in touch with Entershine Bookshop? Our titles are available there--go flip through them, get your Thanksgiving cards, and support regional artists and businesses.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
