On Saturday, May 11, Shuniah House is participating in the Literary Market/Book Fair that's part of the weekend activities for NOWW's LitFest!
This year, NOWW--the Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop, based in Thunder Bay and serving all of Northwestern Ontario--is hosting award-winning fantasy author Guy Gavriel Kay. On May 10 and 11, you'll find opportunities to socialize, get books signed, attend a workshop, and generally celebrate writing and reading in Northwestern Ontario.
The Baggage Building Arts Centre is part of the Thunder Bay waterfront park. The Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include all sorts of writing, books, and literary-related fun. Come check it out!
It's our first event in ... forever? A long time, anyway. It gives you the chance to examine physical copies of our books, buy them if you'd like, and talk with author Roy Blomstrom.
